I should have watched this movie earlier. It was on sale several times while I was still living in the Philippines. This DVD set is also full of information about the movie and the effects it has had on Hollywood cinema. Ridley Scott gives so much information and detail on how this movie was made especially in the commentary track. It is priceless.
The characters are well-written and the technical aspects of the movie are superb. The American deserts never looked so romantic and stunning. It is a huge contrast with the outcome of the movie.
Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis are unforgettable in this movie. I am sure this would be the most memorable movie they have ever been in.
The politics of the movie is still very fresh and shocking even up to now. This is really a great movie but do not watch it when you are already depressed.
